David is a self-confessed ‘people person’ and enjoys meeting with his clients to learn about their lives, assets, goals and unique situations. He uses his caring nature, together with his emotional intelligence and legal experience to advise on the best approach to structuring your estate.

Working with people of all ages, demographics and financial situations, David helps his clients to see the benefits of estate planning at any time in their life. He strongly believes in the need for people to have a Will from a young age and can assist in highlighting assets his clients are sometimes unaware of – such as superannuation.

Though David primarily enjoys drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and setting up Testamentary Trusts, he is also experienced in acquiring Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, conducting estate administration, contesting Wills and advising on family provision claims.

David is also experienced in the areas of Property Law and conveyancing, and enjoys assisting Purchasers and Vendors alike when they are undertaking the purchase or sale of residential property. David’s clients compliment him on his ability to guide them through the process in a responsive and timely manner, all whilst ensuring that they are well-informed and well-advised about their rights and obligations.

With a commercial approach assisted by his double degree in Law and Commerce from Deakin University in Geelong, David is highly regarded by his network of accountants and financial advisors whom he liaises with to ensure a holistic approach is taken when considering a client’s estate plan.
