Carl has been practising law since 2017 and is an Accredited Specialist in Children’s Law. Carl is primarily responsible for servicing many of HQ Law’s Legal Aid matters.
In often difficult circumstances, Carl aims to provide concise advice to his clients about child protections involvement with their family and the court processes in order to seek the fairest possible outcome.
He appears regularly in the Children’s Court in the Bendigo Region, and across the State, representing all parties, including children, parents, grandparents and other family members and is highly experienced with Child Protection applications made by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).
In what are often extremely high-pressure situations, Carl’s approach is calm, considered and compassionate.
Beyond his expertise in child protection, Carl is experienced in a broad range of matters including applications for intervention orders, family, conveyancing, subdivisions, leasing and commercial law.
