Annette has been admitted to practice as a solicitor for the last 27 years. She has been an accredited specialist in family law since 2001.

Annette provides her clients with clear, practical and no-nonsense advice. She will strive to ensure that you understand the issues in your case and she will help you to reach a resolution as quickly as possible, minimising the stress and uncertainty for you during what is likely to be an emotionally difficult time.

Understanding the costs involved in your case is important – Annette will provide you with realistic estimates, explain your options and keep you informed about what to expect on the way.

Annette has wide-ranging experience in all aspects of family law including:

  • Property matters (including those involving complex farming issues, superannuation splitting issues and/or complex commercial structures);
  • Financial Agreements (including Pre Nuptial Agreements, De Facto Cohabitation Agreements and Separation Agreements);
  • De Facto property matters;
  • Children’s matters including relocation applications, parenting arrangements, passport applications, paternity disputes, name changes and child support (and child maintenance (for over 18s));
  • Spouse maintenance;
  • Domestic violence and Intervention Orders;
  • Divorce.

Annette has undertaken training to act as a mediator and has been involved in a number of mediations both as the mediator or representing one party.

In addition to her busy Bendigo based law practice, since 2008, Annette has been a part-time member of the Social Security Appeals Tribunal where she hears child support disputes.

Annette is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.

Local and community involvement is important to Annette; she is a past President of the Bendigo Law Association and was a board member of Lifeline for approximately ten years.
